About Old Florida Weddings

Old Florida Weddings was created out of a genuine love for the Forgotten Coast, and a desire to support the small businesses and talented people who make this place so special.

We are Apalachicola residents who have called the Forgotten Coast home since 2018, with a connection to the area that goes back to the 1980s. After decades of visiting and now living here, there is a deep appreciation for what makes this stretch of Florida different from so many other places.

The quiet beaches, small crowds and natural scenery attract visitors from near and far. But we also believe it's the spirit of the people who live here that makes the Forgotten Coast a place people fall in love with - and keep coming back to.

We don't have endless rows of big-box stores, large shopping centers, or national restaurant chains. And honestly, we like it that way. Instead, our communities are filled with locally owned businesses, independent shops, family-run restaurants, creative professionals, hardworking tradespeople, and people who take pride in being part of this place.

Those are the people we want to support.

We also recognize that life on the Forgotten Coast has its busy seasons and its slow seasons. Local businesses work hard to make a living here throughout the year, and we want Old Florida Weddings to be one small way of helping them connect with new customers and build awareness.
